In my Brain...
hi i currently have a Thermaltake Armor case i liked the look of it at first but now iv had it a while im kinda fed up of lugging it about as its not the ideal case for lan partys and can be v-heavy although it looks nice im looking for a smaller case that meets some of my needs and iv been looking around at the Akasa Mirage 62 as it has a nice black interior doesnt look too big and has a nice side window but im unsure if it could fit a enermax galaxy in comfortably and what sort of quality are theese cases any feedback on them would be greatly apreciated

regards

The mirage is pretty big itself (only 70mm shorter than your current case & its 20mm wider). Are you sure the mirage is gonna be a good lan case?

The Mirage/Eclipse is HUGE, however it is not heavy.

Its got acres of space inside, i'm sure it'd gobble up that Enermax with room to spare.

The Mirage is an excellent case but barely any smaller than what you have so not ideal for lans.

You can fit the Enermax Galaxy and 8800GTX SLi in the Lian Li G50 and it is tiny :D Might be worth considering?

well iv never seen a lan-li case and im not a big fan of them looking at them online and as theres not many cases that come with black interior im limited as im hopeless at painting but can mod pretty well and i have a major mod job in idea for the akasa case that will both make it uber light and look nice

mod idea 1. as you can see the case strips down pretty well and has a nice looking chassis so i was thinking of getting some black mesh and fitting it to the top front and sides and creating a simple jet turbine fan mod on the front

mod idea 2. again stripping the case down and fitting uv reactive perspex to the sides top and front and illuminating it with uv lighting

water mod. i would mount a front 2x120mm radiator in the front of the case and drill holes for fan ducts and i would have the resoviour and the pump in the spare 5`12 bays i would then route the water pipes around the top curve of the case and then down to the cpu chipset and possibley the gfx card

i also had an idea to route the water pipes around the case so it looked pretty cool with one of the above mods but im unsure how strong the pumps are and weither they would cope

what do you think would be the nicer mod ?

iv decided to make this possibly my main case and im going to start building a thermaltake lanboy case up as a micro atx gaming system

yea the wheels are a v apealling feature i suppose im just bored with how plain my tt armor looks i need w/c :D

well this case is going to be for my second system thanks to seeing the thread about clones mountin mods case iv got my sights set on that for my main pc :D
