Recently my case has got me a bit miffed, its rattling and humming like a good'un,i have 1 intake, 1 exhaust 1 cpu fan and a 200mm side fan and small chipset fan, all i hear is the annoying hum from the panels.is this due to vibration from fans transmitting to the panel's? should i use rubber grommet to stop vibration transmitting to the panel's? any other tip to quite it down,
or should sell the case and look for much quiter steel constructed case?
the intake is at low rpm the exhuast is on full whack connected to mobo both fans are noctua one's.

thanks zia

Don't sell it, that case is a thing of beauty. The panels do tend to resonate. Stick some form of material between the side panels and the case. Ideally stick something heavy to the middle of each panel, look up mass loading and take advice from the people who do it to their cars. I've done this to my one with great success, I'm very pleased with it thread here, pictures a long way down

Thank's for the sujjestion,i have installed rubber mount on the 2 120m fans but seem this has done bugger all to the resonance from the panels, suppose i could put some sound deading stuff on them but some how don't think it going to do much good.
I've had the case for over 2 years now, i feel as thou i need a more well constructed case, with some modern feature Cpu cut out in mobo, hotswapable
hd's.

sorry it didnt help you with the rubber mounts have you tried getting a new fans as older ones when they start easring down can start vibrating more and newer ones might be able to be turned down a bit or use thw mobo pwm features or something that might stop a lot of the noise if it is form the fans
