Why are the sticky pads so pathetic. I have built tons of PCs and whenever I use neons they always come unstuck.

My new machine has four in and three of the four have moved from where I stuck them.

anyway, lastnight I got mad and here's what I did:

1. Used UHU glue on them - Failed
2. Used Evostick bonding glue - Failed
3. Used Bostick superglue - Failed

Then........................... after getting VERY mad

4. Used No Nails - Complete Success :D

I'm not sure if the inside of the eclipse 62 has some weird coating on the panels but they feel very greasy  maybe that's why the pads haven't worked.

I don't know about the coating but i find it's the heat that effects the sticky pads.

Your a bit buggered now for taking them off, if they stop working or you wnat to sell the case lol

I know lol

it was one of those things where I got mad and would do ANYTHING to stop them moving about

I plan on keeping the case for a while yet but if the neons break I'll have a reason to buy a new one (case that is) :D

I found the ones that come from the neons are really bad, but I bought hundreds of sticky pads of the bay for a quid and they work 10X better lol.

Its the pads that are useless, i put some under a shelf i made and they stuck to the wood but not the cathode, i have sum industrial strength double sided foam so ill try that and let you know if it works.

bought numerous light tubes, all stick very firmly to the case,
trying cleaning the case with white spirit or meths?

i have found hot melt glue/velcro and bluetac all very good subsitutes to when the pads are old. :)
