Errr, that's a question that depends on your perception of noise. How long is a piece of string?

Well, in my opinion. They are very quiet.
I could here my old harddrive spinning louder than the power supply.
Normally it was easily drowned out by every other fan in the case.

I was a bit cynical about the noise rating, but I've got a 460W Paxpower running, and it's not quite silent, I can just about make out the fan spnning, but only if I concentrate on it. Not silent, but certainly very very quiet.

Am with you on this.... you have to be very close to the PSU and really concentrate to notice any noise...

It is very quiet and wouldn't notice any noise in general use on the computer

EDIT: also had mine for a year now and still running like brand new and its powering my PC (see sig) just fine

as stated it is a nice quiet psu.I have one in my antec p180 and its inaudible unless you sit with your ear against the case

I can't hear it from where i sit and i can only hear it if i turn off all other fans except my Freezer 64.

I installed one for a mate the other day, i could barely hear the thing and i hate any type of fan noise. Very quiet indeed.
