akasa venom toxic

Hi all

just brought the akasa venom toxic case for my rig,

i have a usb cable and a sata cable coming from the front panel, which has usb 3.0 and e-sata. other usb ports are connected and working with the small connectors onto the mo board.

any ideas where thease go? :confused:

obviously i have no usb on the mo board (x58a-ud3r)

help please!

According to manual X58a-ud3r has a eSATA/USB2 combo connection on the back panel so you need to feed the cables out of the case to the rear to connect them.

Plus there are a pair of USB3 sockets on back panel as well.

yes it does have them as you say, not too keen running cables out of the case tho!

is pci controller card an option in an 8x pci slot?

Yes.

A 2 port PCIe card with give you one internal & one external USB3 connection

If you have a eSATA to SATA backplate, just remove the bracket, & you have a instant adaptor to use to connect the case esata connector to.
