Between AKG 702 or DT770, cant make up my mind.
Having moved the PC to my bedroom, I need something that does not leak too much sound. For general PC use which include Gaming, watching catch up TV episodes/Movies, listing to music ect, but I am by no means a pro.
What would be best out of the 2?

The 702's are open so will leak a lot more than the 770's.

Another to consider is the AKG K550 MK2 which is closed back and personally I found far superior to the DT770's for everything when I tried them both.

I keep forgetting about the K550 as a good closed alternative to the DT770. Only slight issue is the K550 need a good seal, which is impossible to achieve for those who wear glasses.

Have you thought about wireless the senn RS165's are a good shout for movies and tv and music not sure about gaming though movies and tv i use mine in the bedroom on a night when the Mrs is asleep and music. But during the day i walk around the house with mine on and listen to music i don't like been sat in one place all the time with headphones on. Plus they don't leak

I didn't really like wireless headphones for some reason, but i did see a Steelseries Arctis 7 in the MM here for a moment.

DT990 would be my choice. It's open though.
For closed, pick the DT770.
I own both, and the 770 is boxed away somewhre now

Just posted in another thread that I'm interested in making this switch. Got the DT770s now, everyone seems to rate the DT990s above them? What are the main differences?
