The sound has finally failed on my 712 Pros - started as an intermittent fault on the right can but now completely caput.
It had already failed previously but that was just a poorly soldered connection that had failed and was easily rectified.
Was expecting the same thing this time but all joints were fine, checked continuity for each of the lines and that was all good.
Further investigation I found what I think is likely cause ...
2 shots below show a hair thin copper wire that goes round to the front (inner side) of the speaker.
The speaker has one on each side - on one of them (top image) the wire has snapped
Any ideas if this is repairable - I really do like the headphones but after 2 faults within first 2 years I'm not likely to buy again.
