Went to see Al murray last night in cambridge, excellent especially as he annilated my wife :D

What was strange for me was his world cup song at the end. Its a perfect terrace song for Germany. Really surprised it didnt get more coverage. Footballs coming home worked so well as it was a fans song.

Imho this wouldve worked excellent in germany.....

no, the history shows that china was playing a version of football a long long time before we even cottoned onto it!

Who cares who invented it, thats not what Al Murray is all about - he claims everything is British.

I would love to see him live, would be pretty awesome :D

I have them all. My wife hates him, but as it was my birthday she gave in. We got second row seats and he stopped the show to comment on her er chest then passed her a glass of wine so he could pretend to look down her top. He then slaughtered her job. He was on top form. He also took my sister in laws pint from her downed it and gave her a glass of wine :D

This chav is sitting in front of me wrapped in a england flag, I overheard him saying if Al picked on him he would slaughter him back.

Al murray destroyed him, he had the whole audience up pointing at him saying shame on you, poor chav :D

Very clever bloke, he must have talked to 50 members of the audience and remmebered their names and jobs all the way through.

I saw him live last year, it was very funny but the crowd banter went on about 10mins too long I think.

But he sets him self up for the 2nd half of the show perfectly and he is a clever, quick whitted bloke.

Was good!

I suppose it depends on the crowd he has to pick on, but it ddnt go on for long enough at mine. To many people over inflating their job titles he couldve gone on all day. Why do people do that anyway?

"So then dave what do you do fo a living"

"I'm a business salesman"

"oh right what business's do you sell, who do you work for"

"O2"

"So you sell phones to people who already have phones, your a mobile phone salesman aren't you dave"

"yeah"

They were playing a sport where they kicked things around, many ancient sports involved kicking things. The actual sport of football was created in England.

I have, they were on one of the sky channels (UK people or history IIRC), fascinating stuff they were too. Al Murray is an incredibly clever bloke :)
