Alan Wake (last chance to own it on Steam! 14/05/2017) £2.99

Superb game and certainly worth a play through for £2.99.

There is talk of them renewing the music licenses in the future, so it might come back at a later date, but don't rely on the fact!

There was Alan Wake American Nightmare, a short add on game, but not a proper sequel.

Has a hilarious bad guy in it :D

I want to know what will happen after the cut off date. I bought the game years go but haven't played it yet. After cut of date I understand it will no longer be up for sale, but can I still download it and play?

Yes, it'll be fine. It won't affect purchased games, just that it won't be available to buy any more. GREAT GAME by the way.

For anyone who does pick this up, setting the launch option -noblur in steam will remove the motion blur that's not in the options to remove but not exactly pleasant to see.

Why was there a fad for it? First thing I did in Mass Effect was turn that off.

I don't know it's awful. I think in some very specific situations ( cut scenes where implemented correctly ) it could offer something but during game play it's just awful. Just a poor attempt to replicate the motion blur you can get with a decent camera..

It's a default disable for me :) as is chromatic aberration and film grain.

Does anyone remember the intel-powered tech demo of Alan Wake? It looked amazeballs. Then we got the game. I was disappointed.
