Recently appeared with some Steam entries so as Batman Arkham City DLC, LA Noire & Limbo all leaked this way you can assume its looking very likely to be announced in the near future. Better later than never at least Remedy acknowledged they ignored PC gamers & hopefully this will sell reasonably well as its a decent survival horror game & higher res on PC alone will make it look much better than the 360 version.

It's a great game which looks great on xbox, the extra power of a pc should send it into overdrive. Extra awesomeness on the lighting, shadows and fog should make it that bit more atmospheric and creepy.

Will double dip on this

Just like you double dipped on that post?

I was disappointed when this wasn't available for PC, now I'm not so bothered, plenty of other good games to play. If it is cheap enough I would probably buy it

I won't buy it just for that fact. The only game I would buy that is really really late is red dead. Other game companies won't get my money after all this time. It is taking the mickey a bit.

Wasn't this supposed to be on PC originally?

I remember being very excited for it, never bothered with it on xbox (mainly due to delays) so I'll wait and see how it's shaping up on PC.

It was going to be a pc exclusive, then it never came out on pc

I'd get it on PC. I bought it for my 360, then my 360 fell over... got rid of the game, and then a few weeks later was given another 360 by a friend. I didn't get the game again, despite being close to competing it.

Having forgotten the story I'll buy it for steam :p

Also, I wonder if we'll get the xbox live title released soon?

Not anytime soon as thats confirmed as an XBLA exclusive but hopefully if Alan Wake sells well on PC we will get it later but the existing DLC for Alan Wake which we will definately get as Remedy would be crazy to not port that across especially the Writer DLC its as good as anything in the main game but both DLC episodes are pretty decent & well worth buying as I cannot see them giving us the DLC for free but if they gave us all the DLC in an ultimate edition it would be seriously good value for money for survival horror fans :D

No idea how they can expect it to sell well now at all on the PC. Also some other threads on different forums state this could just be a photo shop job. Nothing is 100% about this yet?

If I'm honest with myself, Alan Wake is the main reason I bought an Xbox 360. It's a very good game, I'd name it as one of my favourite ever. One thing I'll say is that it looks great on the Xbox, I was very impressed with the lighting effects over trees etc. As a PC and console gamer I'd have to say that I can't see the PC version being particularly better unless they made new textures etc for it. I don't think a resolution bump will add that much to it. I'd maybe buy it in a Steam sale. If I didn't have the Xbox version, I'd buy it definatley.
