Ok I'll go against the grain, it was god-awful, it sounded like Evanescence doing My Humps which is never, repeat never going to be a good thing. Alanis Morissette is usually pretty good so I'll just call this an error of judgement on her part. :p
 
I'm pretty sure it's not supposed to be taken seriously in any shape or form :p To be honest it's kind of a double mick-take imo as it shows how easily someone can write a cheesy ballad voice and piano esq song :D

I wouldn't take it seriously except it was assaulting my ears and it sounded like Evanescence who are a group I really dislike and I'm not totally sure I can express why. :)
 
I think anything is better than the BEP original, however I'm more interested in how Alanis looks quite fit in that video, always thought she was a bit of a munter, but I must say 'I'd hit it!'
 
i think it was crap. how can you take the **** out of a song called "my humps"? surely that's a **** take in itself?

but i have to agree with the above. alanis certainly is improving with age. she looks quite tasty. :D
 
Saw this last week on The Superficial, I personally liked it. It's clearly better than the original.

Alanis has an awesome voice. Jagged Little Pill is still one of the best albums ever.

Except hers isnt a joke! I remember hearing about Nirvana starting their concerts to this track and dancing around the stage like fairies.:p

Can't believe the amount of people that don't "get" this video... it's not bloody rocket science is it!

Alanis' voice is as good as it ever was though... I really want to hear more of her now. Just goes to show how a fantastic artist can take a ****-poor song and transform it into something completely different. Incredibly strong vocal talents... this sort of pace of song suite her down to the ground too.

Black Eyed Peas are truly awful, this only proves it. They must have felt some sense of shame after watching this video. :D

Tori rocks! Though I don't think what alanis is doing has anything to do with Tori's awesome cover. BEP suck balls.
 
This is the only way she can get attention now because she's washed up and few people care about her. Rubbish.
