Alarm LED

Hi

I noticed on my bike last night that the alarm led just stays on constantly when the alarm is armed but usually it flases once a second. When disarmed it turns off.

Everything seems to be working fine on the alarm and the manual doesn't mention anything about the led staying on all the time.

It was fitted to my bike in 2002.

maybe an earth? or low battery?

It is a loose connection somewhere as when I started the bike up the led would flicker sometimes even though it's supposed to be off when the bike is running. I took it for a ride and it seems to be ok for now but there is obviously a loose connection that needs investigation.
