Just thought I would post a couple of samples in case anyone is interested in ordering from them.

Very happy overall, biggest gripe is they force you to have a page with their logo at the back which obviously doesn't look professional. I have found an 'expert' way to removing any trace of the offending page though, but still.. it would be better if you could pay a little more for them not to include it.

Below are a few samples, note that the pages have a slight sheen to them, hence why the highlights look blown out in the pictures, but don't in real life.

Judging from your photos. Paper doesn't look that heavy, spine looks quite weak, colours look accurate enough.

How much?

The bit about their logo would be a killer for me, even Blurb has an option to remove it, even at a price.

It was for me to at first, I only found out they did that from reading a review after I had ordered it as they don't show it in any of their samples. So I called them to let them know I wasn't happy and pointed out blurb allow you to remove the logo, and they promptly agreed to a refund.

However when I got the book I had a look to see what could be done, it turns out that due to the lay flat binding, you can carefully remove the page in about under a minute without leaving visible evidence, so not a deal breaker for me any more.

Paper is similar to a photograph in thickness I would say, apparently it's 200 gram paper, this suits me as I like to be able to add allot of pages. I know our philosophies differ here.

Spine etc. obviously isn't super thick, but it seems to be made from sturdy material, at least sturdy enough that I wouldn't envisage it falling apart over x number of years.

£65 delivered.

A blurb book doesn't compare in actual book quality imo, although print quality is much the same. I ordered a Blurb album not so long ago with half the pages, and that came to £75.
