Hi there,

I'd like apologise to all of the folks affected by my recent accident. I had a bad fall in the streets of Paris, misjudged a kerb and fell forward, I thought I could save myself but couldn't. I landed on my right arm broke the humerus in two places close to the shoulder. I managed to find my way back to the hotel which was almost a mile away. I would like to thank my old friend Yves Farge who helped me greatly, he called a doctor and also accompanied me to the hospital where he was invaluable with translations.

I will be out of action for about 45 days, there will be periodic checks and x-rays. We will be trying to reschedule the gigs around work that is in the books later this year, I hope that I will be in good shape by then.

Bless the old fool. :p

He seems positive, and according to his people, he should be on tour again in no time. This is really irritating as I was supposed to be supporting him on May 29th, so this hanging right in the balance.

I hope he gets well soon, as people need to hear his picking. :cool:
