album showing more than once in itunes

some of my albums in itunes list every track as a seperate album

so if i'm browsing albums it will show the same album name for every track instead of being able to go in to the album and see the 16 tracks or however many there are listed together

any easy way to solve this ?

Are the artists different artists for each track?

yeah it's all compilation albums now i think about it actually

Aye, you'll need to tick the compilation tick box in each tracks details I think.

hmm, I'm not quite sure what to do here, I can't see any option to mark the tracks as compilations
just right click the track and it's there somewhere ?

select all the tracks of the same album > right click > get info and tick the box that says part of compilation

I have the same problem, changing the Album Artist in get info so that they are all the same seemed to fix my problem.
