I had a quick look on Amazon. According to some reviews it can be done. Lyre's alcohol free whiskey seems to be decent according to reviews. Twenty odd quid to find out though. Did the alcohol free gin give that strong afterglow that spirits tend to do?I tried some of those alcohol free gins when they were giving bottles of them out at work for free. They try to use herbs and spices to try and recreate the flavours. I think this would be hard to do with whisky. Some of the smoky flavours would be possible but the others will be really hard to match.
Why didn't I think of that? D'oh!Have you considered whisky?
