Alcon vs Performance Friction

Anyone used both? Or even one or 'tuther.

The GTR will need both front discs and pads replaced in the next service and just weighing up options.

Would just like to know if anyones got experience of either.

Used AP, Alcon and PF, albeit on different cars, they all stop great.

What I would say is Alcon J-hook / AP J-hook seem the quietest and for me Alcon/AP disc lasted longer than PF disc.

I only use Alcon on M3 now and my choice on future cars would only be Alcon or AP for disc.

Will be going Alcons with Cosworth pads, looks like a good mixture of performance and quietness.

Have you ever come across System ST on the circuit ? I worked for the company founder many years ago and always wondered how this panned out for them.
