Alder lake + 6900xt and RTX3090, heaven or hell?

Looks like the 6900xt loves alder lake, but it's the pain train for Nvidia.

Also interesting, the 12900k has almost no benefit for gaming going above 125w when paired with the 6900xt but has big benefit on the rtx3090.
This leads to an Intel + AMD combo being a lot more energy efficient than Intel + Nvidia

Rather just replace Intel with AMD and then you're more power efficient regardless

Yes but you lose performance so there would be no point - this test shows that Intel can be a better option for high end AMD GPUs (indirectly), the main objective of this data I guess was so Igor could point out how much more inefficient An Nvidia setup is in CPU bottlenecked scenarios, but it indirectly also showed that Intel CPUs make for a better match when paired with an AMD GPU (at least a high end one)
