Hi Guys

I am building a i9-12900k with the Asus Strix Z690-A Gaming and was wondering what would be the best DDR4 to use.

I am looking at the 8pack 3600 32gb and their is two listings, with my limited knowledge i thought lower numbers was better but it seems the one with lower numbers is cheaper so was just a little confused and thought i would check with you experts first what would be best.

1) £158.99
TDPPD432G3600HC16GDC01
3600MHz RAM Speed
CAS 16-16-16-38 Timings

2) £149.99
TDPPD432G3200HC14ADC01
3200MHz RAM Speed
CAS 14-14-14-31 Timing

I came on the forums to ask this exact question. Hoping someone can shed light here.

Im focused mainly on Warzone, Halo, Battlefield so not sure if I should get the 32gb kit or 16gb kit here.

If you plug both of those values into a RAM latency calculator (e.g. https://notkyon.moe/ram-latency.htm which was my first Google hit), you get:
3200 @ CL14 = 8.75 ns
3600 @ CL16 = 8.88 ns
Now that doesn't answer which one will perform the best, but the chips are most likely the same.
If you are ever thinking of reselling them in the future: Well, bigger numbers sell so the 3600Mhz one would probably sell better.
