My local Lidl still had a load of bike gear when I checked last week, including waterproofs, windproof layers, boots, helmets, gloves etc.

The paddock stand seems a nice buy, would anyone risk putting their bike on one from aldi though?

Well I shall tell you when I try....... :D

Have had a quick go on my own, yesterday, but as my ER6-f does not have a centre stand, it was awkward to say the least, what with the bike leaning to one side, will give it another go when I got someone to help me. Wish it had some holes in the paddock stand so that it could be bolted to my swingarm, rather than just have the bike sit on top of two small right angles.

Nearly dropped my ER-6f twice when I was using a standard paddock stand. S'why I first purchased an Abba stand :)

When adjusting the chain I'd whip her up on the Abba, slip the paddock under the rear then roll the Abba stand back and take it off. Reverse that for taking the rear paddock stand back off, unless I had someone to help.

What I'm loving about the Speed Triple is the single sided swingarm stand, slots right into the wheel hub so would be pretty hard to drop it :)

When I bought a paddock stand (not Aldi) for my ER-6f I got 2 bobbins for the swing arm and used the hook adapter thingamabobs that came with the stand to lift the bike up. I can do it myself by holding onto the grab raid with my left hand and levelling the bike then getting the stand in place and lift. Took a few goes to get the motions smooth but it's easy with a little practice.

Going to get a front stand soon, one that goes into the front headstock so I can remove the front wheel.
