Aldi store this sunday

Awesome, I'll pick up a few cans of the normal WD40 lube, I actually prefer it to the castrol racing lube, seems to last longer. It's normally about £8-10 so I may walk out with an armful :D

Free delivery so just order a couple of boxes full online, no need to fight and search through your local Aldi then :D

I wonder if it's a tiny can though? Seems very cheap, don't buy the boots either mine fell apart within a few months

It's the 200ml cans. So they're not huge, but they're not the tiny 50ml ones. I got 2 chain lubes worth of stuff out of one of the 50ml sample ones I had years ago.

Might pick up some of those neck warmers, got a good collection of those going now :D

Pretty good price for that Zumo.

Wax is more for wet weather, yes - it coats your chain in a while 'blanket' - however I use the normal lube in all weathers through winter and it just means when it's wet you have to reapply slightly more often.

Mmm as mine sits outside all day and gets used whatever happens I've gone for the wax. I've been using Motul Paste for a while as it's so easy to put on, but I only get about 400 miles out of it and even less when its very wet.

I used Rock Oil stuff to start with which lasted a long time but so, so messy.

Seems I was just making it up :D I use Muc Off Extreme at the minute lasts well riding through all weathers although I normally aim to relube every time I fill up anyway so roughly once a week or 200 miles and smells nice, which is important obviously.

i use it on your recommendation, its very good :)

I just use Castrol Racing Lube. Not had any rust even riding through this winter and it's nice and sticky, doesn't come off at all even though I wash every week with the hose. £6.99 a 400ml bottle :)

I have also gone for the base layers as I'm looking at doing a trackday soon and have no idea if my 2-piece lets in the cold or not :D
