Anyone else ever pay a visit to this lot?

My wife and I go about once every 2 weeks. There are several items we like to stock up on. We find they are very good for "deli" type items.

We normally stock up on their Parmesan which is cheaper than anywhere else and we use it a lot. We also stock up on other cheeses. Chorizo is a another staple for us that we will often stock up on. They also do artichoke hearts at a good price.

We have bought fresh veg there previously but found it went off a lot quicker than veg bought elsewhere.

I did bump into someone I did business with their once. It was a supplier of mine. He asked me how I was and I replied "fine, but I would be much better if I had bumped into you at Waitrose"

Unless you're one of those people that enjoys impressing people with how much your wine cost, Aldi and Lidl are really good for inexpensive wine.

I know most people with turn their nose up at it, but if you're one of those people who tends to go for horrible Blossom Hill/Jacobs Creek, you can definitely find better wine here for less than you'd pay for that.

Thing is they always stick Aldi on the labels.

I always make sure to decant any wine from Aldi if I am entertaining.
