How does algee grow without daylight? And what can I use to clean my loop?

I don't think its algee its a brown film on the block and there is bits of nickle plating missing not even 6 months old

it is indeed a EK block. Funny that EK say that kill coil and some coolants is the cause. I have only used the EK ekoolent that was included in the kit.
