Alice in Borderland (Netflix)

S2 - only watched 2 episodes so far, disappointing :(

Started off strong and now there's a lot of boring dialogue about, 'feelings' and the most unexciting game ever which is spread over 3 episodes!

Hopefully it will pick up.

The locations in 5&6 could have come straight from TLOU - they even managed a large exotic animal moment.

20mins of ep 6 left - time for a wine top up!

I have just worked out what S2 reminds me of, it has turned into a Japanese console game - action, action, action then unskippable cut scene where the characters drag out talking about their feelings and utter words that sound profound and deep, but ultimately actually mean nothing.

2 more episodes to go.

Ep8 - 20mins to go - had to take a break. An hour of people on their last breaths, only to not be actually dead.

Japanese are crazy, no idea what I'm watching now. Not a patch on S1, let's see how the final 20mins pan out.

Sweet baby Jesus - I thought the message was 2 seasons of "seize the day", "live life to the full" etc. But then we get the final scene setting up s3.

Painful to watch at times.

More I think about it, the more plot holes there were with the ending. Reminds me a bit of Lost too.

Apparently S2 has used up the original source material, so if it is renewed then it will be new material.

Them just brushing off being shot like it was a scratch did make me feel cheated

I loved it. Had a great ending to be honest. From the start it was very reminiscent of live action anime. That fight with the king of spades was brutal. Honestly I would be happy with that ending and the last scene as just a tease.
