Alien Isolation Benchmark

Must agree with Silent scone
The vga port on 290x are happy when putting 1.43v+ true core. Only when use dp port i got prob when going over 1.42+ core.
Doesnt matter of clocks of core.

it lost signal when was on stock clocks but with 1.43volt on core:(

So 1000/1250 with 1.43v core no go on dp port on my 290x no heat prob.:(

with vga port and 1.43+ i am heat constrained but can bench with 1340/1700....:)

I just tried 1.412v on my cards with no OC and tried to run Firestrike @4K, no good I lost the signal as well.

I think you would be wasting your money on different cables though as I have quite a few and they all lose the signal.:(

It's a signal strength issue not sure that will do anything

+1

You don't need really need dxdiag reports for this as it is easy to replicate.

Add 290X to system
Add 4K monitor
Add 1.4v
Lose signal

Btw why does not ocuk have any phase and chiller sections

Does not Kaapstad and Newit have chillers and Alatar and Newit phasechange....
Maybe it are some more users with chiller/phase experience to?

I still have a chiller and it will probably get some work soon.:D

I am also thinking about phasechange as I already use a LD case and am very impressed with there gear.:)

Well yeah but past 4.6GHz on a CPU in the Unigine benches and you wont see much help from it according to Kapp. I was also looking at your insane clocks on your 970's, nearly 1500 on the core and 2000 on the memory, that's hugely over the top of 290's and 7970's and it still doesn't score higher.

With Heaven 4 you won't see much improvement going over 4.6 with one or two cards. With Valley it is the other way round with two or more cards as it is a terrible CPU bottleneck for the cards and you need every last bit out of the CPU.

Not submitting a score but thought I would share the video, Ran and recorded in 4K via Shadowplay and put some music over it as it was too quiet :)

Unless you have super internet let it buffer in 4K or just run it in 1080P for nearly the same quality.

Will you be entering some scores?

Do we just run our own settings?

The settings are in the 1st post :)

5th spot, bumped the core clocks.

Sorry, I read through the posts and thought people were using different settings for fun ;)

Here's mine as per Kapstad settings, (btw ingame menu is hard to read with that white text).

If you press ESC a few times when starting the bench, you can set options there and it is easier to read.:)

And on the scoreboard.:)

Okay updated, Turns out I deleted it but thankfully didn't empty my recycling bin :)

Nice score and on the board.:)

It would be nice to see more of the guys over at OC3D posting their scores here but I think TTL would get a bit upset if I posted a link to here.:D
