Alien Isolation - memory leak?

Has anyone noticed if this game has a memory leak? About 1 hour into playing, my entire system hangs and AI goes to 0fps.

Closing the game doesn't help, but a reboot obviously does. 2nd time in 2 days this has happened.

Personally I haven't had anything of the sort in the 2 full play throughs I've done.

I can't say I have seen anything said about a memory leak on any forums also.

Likewise, played through all of it, and had it paused for long periods of time, no issues on my end (played on the rig in sig).

Tried a reinstall + reinstall of drivers etc?

Found a few sites where memory leaks appear to be a cause of the game running slow and stuttering....

However, I've not found anything conclusive as to if the game is indeed bugged like this or a patch.

File validation bought up 4 which failed, they were re-acquired - will see what happens.

Game has been pretty much flawless for me, fantastic game as well.

Love this game. So tense and keeps drawing me in.

**Issue resolved - I validated the files and all working fine now. Strange issue for sure.
