Alien³ - What are your thoughts?

To be honest, I quite like Resurrection until the final act. After Brad Dourif introduces the hybrid.

Shame that lovely insight and all the profound concepts presented were buried by gaping plot holes, stupid acting and the ignoring of every character (aside from David) who was actually engaging...

I can actually enjoy all films, but am only a fan of the first two.
 
I havent watched A3 in ages but it was a decent attempt given all the production problems. I remember me and my mates reading film magazines in WHSmiths constantly for any information about it as it was being made, i'm sure i read that the original story was supposed to be them reaching earth and finding some massive alien war going on? or did i dream that?

As for Prometheus, christ ive lost faith is Scott, im actually sweating bullets about him doing Bladerunner 2, if he messes that up i may kill him.

That was one of the possible story line but it was rejected quite early, the one that ALMOST got made was instead of prisioners on a prison planet. It was Monks on a planet made of Wood!
