The gear is very reasonably priced for the features available. They also look sweet and aren't just K70 carbon copies. They have a unique flavour that people who like Phantek's cases should really dig. The switches on the keyboards are Kailh MX Brown, probably the current most popular switch type, and the Mice have Omron switches. Both are ambidextrous and the Elite definitely has a little MX Master feel. The ambidextrous layout and swappable sides on the Elite mean they should suit all grip styles and play styles well, the Elite also has a whopping 13 programmeable buttons. All are RGB, of course, and the keyboards are UK Layout.

The bags are compatible with other brands of laptops so you can turn up to lectures and pretend to everyone you are one of the cool kids (until you take out your Toshiba 13" ;) ).

Yeah it's one of those. Megajeans here hates G keys, but then so many people find them useful in gaming or coding.

The gap on this keyboard is quite narrow between G-keys and left hand side of the keyboards as well so if you hate G-keys this isn't the keyboard for you!
 
Owner here of the Pro Keyboard and the cheaper of the two mice.

The keyboard is lovely, solid frame really heavy feels like a premium product. I agree with the comments above, the macro keys aren't great but weren't a deal breaker for me. Worth mentioning the RGB backlight is zone lit rather than per key. Oh and if you're buying the keyboard buy the wrist/palm wrest to go with it (not sure if they're in stock here). I've customised a couple of the key caps on mine. I'll take a photo later and share :)

The mouse is OK.. Doesn't feel particularly good quality and I find my find the positioning of the buttons sometimes requires me to adjust the way I hold it. I'm not sure I would recommend it, it's just alright.
 
Wondering how alienwear can get mx brown switch keys with rgb for less that 80 quid while everyone else are 150+

They are Kailh not Cherry's so even though they are equivalent they are a bit cheaper per key. There is some of it. Also I haven't seen Alienware market these anywhere apart from their own channels so they saved some there. Also RGB is zonal rather than per-key. Meaning the switches are even cheaper as they don't have to be clear.

not accourding to your description

Brown MX switches would point torwards Cherry. If they are Kailh then they arnt mx switches. You wouldnt slap an f430 badge on a fiat and call it a farrari

Ah, apologies, when i was setting up the DSG had them mistakenly listed as Cherry MX. Once I cleared it up with Alienware what switch type they were I removed the cherry bits but not the MX. Will amend ASAP!
 
Ok so photographing a keyboard with an iPhone is not the way to go..

But here’s mine anyway with a few custom Alienware and Portal key caps. The Alienware one should be there out of the box imo :)
