Anyone looking forward to this? I loved the first one even though the ending was abit corny but going by the R rated trailer floating around on the internet the sequel looks brutal.

Would link the trailer but its definately not suitable for family eyes lol.

Cant wait! :D

This has to be the third thread on this film at least. :p

But in answer to your question, yes, I am looking forward to this. Nothing like a but of no holds barred no brainer action. With Predator AND Alien.

im a predator whore :D:D and aliens isnt that far behind either.seen the trailors and it does look pretty good, well very gory.still cant beat predator one it is awesome.

It will be rubbish, they dont really have anywhere to go with it story wise and both franchises were buried for good with the risible AvP.

It's already getting slaughtered by the critics.

'A vile, joyless, murky, moronic, amateurish, contemptuous, numbing, unintentionally hilarious, and thoroughly diseased motion picture...a middle-finger to the paying crowd.'

I want to watch it even more now :D

I wanna see that quote used on the movie poster. I'd pay money for that :D

One to purchase when it falls in to the "under three quid section" online, I think. Or maybe wait for Film 4 to show it, as I did with that first AVP abomination...

only downside so far, is that its supposedly only 86 minutes.

That is a downside? I'd call it an upside, too many films take up too much of my time because they don't have a sufficiently ruthless editor to cut out the filler - I'd prefer to watch a good taut story told in 90 minutes than a flabby exercise in self indulgence for 180 minutes which is what all too many films are and then they pretend that it is some sort of value for money because it takes so long.

I'll doubtless watch the film but probably not at the cinema, maybe once it comes out on DVD since I'm not sure it is going to be worth the cinema experience.
