Alienware AW2310 Blu Ray help ?

My friend has bought the alienware optxaw2310 last week, and he tryed to play a blue-ray movie in power dvd but it would not play,he run bd advisor it said video connection type: digital (without HDCP)
has the alienware optxaw2310 got hdcp? :confused:

The monitor does have HDCP.

What was the graphics card and Power DVD version he was running?

Ahh good point think it was a 9600gt which isn,t blu ray combatable so Nvidia website states and don,t think it was the version 10 Powerdvd either

According to this the 9600GT is HDCP compatible. You might want to ask him to go into nvidia Control panel and click on the "View HDCP Status" tab.

i had same problem dvd power 10 & 8 with 8800 ultra. i got a blue ray playing with ps3. i look on a web site that sold the monitor no HDPC no VESA
