Alienware Graphic Card Driver Issue

Hello, I'm new here and I joined mostly to ask a question about my Alienware Area 51 m15x. So the thing is when I switch to external graphic card it seems like drivers are not working, even when I play movie it freezes. Is there anything which can be done or does it need new graphic card ?

would installing windows 7 resolve this problem ? if yes where from can i get alienware command center ?

Does it do this with games or is it only with video? If it's only with video, what sort of video? Flash? divx? dvd?

It do this with games and videos.

First thing to do is uninstall the GFX drivers, reboot, then run driver-sweeper to clean out all the left over files. Then reboot again and install the GFX driver.
This should hopefully rule out any driver issue.
