Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww man, this laptop looks sooooooo good! :D

A 15" lappy with the 8800m gtx in, and it has the 9 series dual core cpus :cool:

Price isnt too bad too (considering the spec) which I thought was odd for alienware lol

Anyone else excited about this laptop?
 
I considered it, but the price....especially when I saw the gateway P171 in the states for $1200! Pity we cant get it here.

I ended up going for the xps m1530 for the price.

Any news on noise or heat from the M15x? I expect them to struggle to cool that 8800
 
Thats what Im thinking about the heat aswell. Read some personal reviews and it says it doesnt get too bad, but Im going to wait for a few proper reviews.

The m1530 is tasty, but the keyboard looks horrible, and im not to sure on the 8600gt...
 
On the 1530 What do you mean by "the keyboard looks horrible"? the colour or layout?

I think the dell looks lovely, but the keyboard layout just looks a bit gay compared to the rest of the laptop IMO.

Im always playing with it at work (Purple Shirt place) , but its the keyboard that quite a lot of people dont like :)
 
Ahh I see. I had an inspiron 9400 before and the keyboard is similar except the far right row. I am just so pleased I am not lugging that monster around and can just chuck my 1530 in a bag, its so much more portable than a 17"
