Alienware M17 wont hold keyboard light settings

It's the R4...I'm changing them just having a play about (as you do ), and saving them...or so I think....but when closing and opening from shutdown say....when it's booted up, the keyboard's back to it's default of blue/turquoise....it's not holding the settings. Or is that the way they work

Mine holds the settings so must be an issue, you tried reinstalling the software?

Never had that problem on any of mine. I think Sam means reinstall alienware command centre thats what controls the lights.

Ok....will see how to do it....if I need discs, I'll need to down the software and put it on one as I didnt get any

Command center is on the dell website when you look for the drivers. Think its under applications.
