Hi All

I have 2 screens connected to my laptop using the HDMI output and Display Port, I really wanted to buy a third screen but where do I put it :)

I know D-SUB can support 1080p resolutions but does the D-SUB on the M17x R4 allow it and if so will all 3 monitors be using the GTX680M and how owuld it perform?

Any advice/information would be appreciated.

Hi roughavoc

I have 2 24" Asus Slim Bezel 1080p screens connected right now what I wanted to do was connect a third but then I won't use the laptop screen while it is on my desk so it will be running at 5760 X 1080, I just wanted to make sure it will work before I buy another.

Not sure how the 680M would work with this resolution during games?

Thanks

Was that with everything on high settings?

I am not that bothered about playing games, I only play very occasionally but it would be cool to use all 3 monitors but not essential.

I just found an old LG 23" 1080p monitor and plugged it in, it runs fine with the 3, just got to try a game now, I am installing BF3 so I will let you know soon, I am not expecting good things though :)

Sadly it doesn't, I had a look around and the GTX680M does not support surround monitors so you don't get the option :(

Might have to break out my desktop again for gaming :)

Is it an AMD eyefinity only kinda thing?
How did Hexus manage to get three screens on the 680 Desktop S:

The 680 desktop has surround support (like eyefinity), the 680m doesn't.

I have a 6970 lightning in my desktop so I think I will use that for gaming using eyefinity.
