Thinking about pulling the trigger on the 3820 ivy and either 675m sli or crossfire m7970 version.

Question is am I being a bit quick off the mark ?

Is there anything else comparable/better on the way ??

Not that concerned about the cost as my company is paying and it will be my main rig

Rightly or wrongly and after reading posts on Notebook Review I have doubts about the AMD drivers for the 7970m, but will agree these GPU's are the best there is at the moment.

By the way has there been an announcement as to when the 680m is due out ??

I'd take a single 7970M over the dual 675M lol.

Also the drivers we have at the moment are pre-release so its a bit unfair to use such hacked bodge jobs for comparisons.

Unfair ?? 'Hacked bodge jobs' , for a released flagship product ?
