So I'm pricing up a new gaming laptop and came across these Clevo builds from OC.

Spec'd the following system with OC and Alienware:

English Windows® 7 Home Premium (64 BIT)
3rd Generation Intel® Core™ i7-3630QM (6MB Cache, up to 3.4GHz w/ Turbo Boost 2.0)
2GB GDDR5 NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 680M
8192MB (2x4GB) 1600MHz DDR3 Dual Channel
500GB 7,200rpm SATA 3Gb/s HDD
17.3" WideFHD (1920 x 1080) WLED LCD

OCs Destroyer P170: £1647
Alienware 17x r4: £1738 (before discount codes/cashback)

I would have thought the Clevo would offer a bigger saving than this?

Thanks for the replys. I'm sure Alienware is better, but that's my point, I would have thought the Clevo, being fairly inferior, would cost a fair amount less than the same Alienware package. But it appears not.

On another note, with the Alienware packages, the Nvidia 680m (£430 extra) appears to be better than the AMD 7970m (£160 extra), but does the performance increase justify that major price difference?
