I keep getting adverts for eSun/Jayo/Sunlu filaments being sold on AliExpress at considerable reductions to Amazon, any feedback on buying from there? I've always associated AliExpress with copies/lower grade items but the prices seem tempting.

I did notice that, and also lots of bundles of 5 x 250g but there are full 1kg reels and lower prices.

Esun/jayo/sunlu are all good filaments, Jayo is just another brand of one of sunlu and esun but I can't recall which. Whether they are cheaper or not will depend. I usually get any of those on ebay at about £11 a kilo

We got Sunlu stuff for what worked out about £8 a kilo roll, really good stuff so we bought another 15 rolls lol.

I've had about 15 rolls of Jayo at this point. Last batch was disappointing. PLA Black was snapping while in the PTFE tube and caused the print to stop.
It was good up till then. I'll probably finish this batch before trying another brand.

I'm exclusively using JAYO PLA+ at the moment, works out around £6/kg and prints perfectly for me.
Haven't found it that cheap, which store and quantity are you buying? The last 4-5 rolls I've bought have been Jayo PLA+ but from Amazon at double that price.

A certain Chinese seller mentioned in the thread title, but I believe they come from a UK warehouse.

10x 1.1kg rolls for 59.19 just now. That's for a mix of black and white.

it's really not that much cheaper. if you're going through it in high enough volume then look at gst3d maybe? they do bulk discounts.

While I can't speak for the quality, AliExpress, is basically a shop front for some Alibaba manufacturers, and is always more expensive. If you want stuff cheaper, but are buying in bulk, use Alibaba, it will be a lot cheaper and will generally be from the same manufacturers on AliExpress.

I've used JAYO via AliExpress. But for some reason, a lot of their stuff can't be delivered to my address. They have great looking deals on colors that I can't seem to get.
