My sister has a Toshiba Satellite U200-115, Its about 2 yrs old and it just wont turn on. At first i thought psu dead and battery flat, But since we have gotten a replacment psu (new) and the laptop still wont turn on.

Now the led lights on the front dont turn on at all unless the psu is plugged in

Then we get the psu led and battery led (yellow) light up

Im lost lol

But then i dont know much about laptops and i know a fair few of you do. So could anyone help us out?

Thanking you in advance

when the U200 is charging the battery LED is orange/yellow.

i've never seen the PSU LED yellow/orange though, its always blue.

the power button itself might be broken. try pressing the media-buttons next to it instead, they also turn the laptop on :)

try leaving it to charge untill the battery LED turns blue? it might be that the battery has so little charge left that it won't turn on.
alternatively, try removing the battery and turning it on!
