Gents

Bit confused about the wireless thermo options.

I was going to go for NEST but I've read up that apparently it doesn't control hot water tanks which seems to be a bit pointless.

Is there a wireless thermo that allows me to control both heating to the radiators and hot water tank? How do I achieve different temperatures or shut off heating completely to each room?

Big bonus points if it looks as nice as the NEST.

Anyone checked out the Warmup 4ie?

They will price match and their customer service is fantastic.

I wouldn't want to be phoning several retailers with different warranty departments. With JL all you get is yes sir no problems.

Had never heard of Gorenje, will check the brand out if we need to replace the hob/oven at any time.

entry/mid level prices. We've been perfectly happy with our LG Washer Dryer, a nice bonus is the price we paid.

We didn't want an American style fridge so bought a Panasonic NR-B32FX3-XB, it's lovely.

I'm not sure LG are entry level prices. Entry level is something horrible like a Bush or ProAction for about £150. LG are some way above that.

Absolutely this, no question.

Been through their warranty process on a Nexus 7 screen fault and I was amazed at how they updated me throughout the whole process. Absolutely faultless service.

A colleague has a bunch of holiday homes and buys all her electrical items through John Lewis and gets the 5 year warranty, she has had excellent service.

Thanks gents - there is a slight complication. I recently found out that my wife, through her company, basically gets 8-10% off anything from Argos, Currys, Homebase, B&Q and about 20 other retailers, although not JL sadly :(

I'll have to hope AO has 10% deals on the stuff I actually want if I'm going to down the price match route with JL as I don't think they'll accept to price match special discounts through company benefits.

Coming back to the question of Wireless Thermostats...can anyone point me in the right direction?

I basically just want a wireless thermo that prevents me having to physically switch on or off heating and water by hand. If it looks great, can control different room temps and has any other benefits like actual energy usage/costs that would be icing on the cake.

Have any of you come across Warmup 4ie? Or honeywell Lyric?
