hey guys, i could use a few tips if you've got any.
I've been learnin guitar for the past 2 years or so on both acoustic and electric, but just recently i've noticed i cannot play standing up to save my life. i've always been sittin when playin just because it felt more comfortable and probs cos i was being lazy but im now finding i want to be standing etc.
chords i usually do with ease sitting just turn into mush with lots of buzzing when im standing lol. i've been reading on the net that having your guitar higher (strap a bit smaller than normal) should help but i just cant quite seem to bend my fingers round to the frets enough for some chords (also doesnt feel very comfortable on my shoulder the higher i have it)?? i've been practicing like this but for things like E and bar chords etc i just cant get my fingers flat enough on the frets??
can anyone help me out here? maybe suggest somethin to try etc??
cheers
