I wanted to add some spare SATA hdd's for storage so I relocated the existing SATA cables before installing the spare HDD's.
I also removed the existing optical drives to put in an HDD drive bay caddy.

Now its total chaos, random error beeps, sirens or no POST beep.
When it works it only boots to the Abit splash screen which is odd since I disabled it in the bios.

I get no power to any keyboard, usb or ps2. I have no HDD's at all plugged in.
Sometimes when I power on I get a siren. If I turn off and pull out power cord, let system completely power down it then boots without the siren.

One thing I haven't done is reset CMOS as I really don't want to lose my overclock unless I have to.

Pull out battery on motherboard for few minutes and then replace.
Don't worry about overclock, you can set that up again.

Did any of the jumpers become accidently dislodged or removed? I had a similar tinker a few weeks ago to find my PC no longer turned on - turned out to be one of the jumpers had come loose.

Update:
Got the PC back! I simply removed all the RAM modules and replaced them one by one.
I suspect I introduced some electrical instability into the system by pulling out the power cord instead of powering down via the power button!
Now I've got to get my overclock back, completely forgotten how to do it!

Thanks for the replies.
