All IE related programs fail to connect...?

Ok, just started a few hours ago and For the Fracking Life of me ive tried everything!

So basically, all Programs that use IE in them, or the same protocols maybe(?) including MSN, will not connect, but all other internet access is fine (Firefox, games, downloads, ect).

MSN says the problem is ports, but I have uPnP turned on, so it should be fine... IE doesnt know what the frack is going on (suprising, eh?)... I've turned off every firewall, played with the router, anti-virus, re-registered SSL dll's, checked that IE has the correct security Settings, lots of thing.

I really need MSN mainly, being my main form of comunication.
anyone else have this problem? or anyone know a way that might fix this?

In IE check if the "Use Proxy Server" box is ticked and it happens to be empty or w/e. And generally just the connecton settings within IE.

I experienced such simmilar issues when sometimes using Fiddler.

Id run some scans for Viruses/Malware too

This will be the problem at a guess - wasted many hours trying to find out connection problems due to a mis-click !!

Wtf.... Its working... everythings Suddenly working.

Tried it a sec ago... nothing, didnt work.
Then I Downloaded IE 8 (even though thats what i have), Ran the installer, got the message 'This version of IE is not supported on this operating system' (im using W7). The Installer closed... but when i opened IE Again... its was Working :confused:

MSN is working too... WTF Happened?!?

I ran an installation that Failed! it didnt even do anything yet... how did it fix it??!!
