Yeah, Sharm is still out of the question really. Have a look at places in Hurghada. On the Red Sea as well but different airport and has been safe throughout the various portions of unrest in Egypt.
 
Just booked up to hurghada.... Dirt cheap , the same as turkey is . And great reviews

Laughed when the travel agent tried telling us it was cheap because it's too hot. Not daft and know people are put off by the threat of being blown up ! Could happen anywhere at the moment though...
