I'd like it if the touch sensitive area extended beyond the top/bottom of the screen, which I think the Palm Pre had.
You sound shocked lol
It happened before so it's likely to happen again.
Apple are never really on the cutting edge of technology, they are good at design and integrating EXISTING technology. Hence 4G being it's infancy is a pipe dream. The camera took 3 generations to match my old Nokia N95 too.
Then again....I didn't see the retina display upcoming.
iPhone 4S is almost certainly what your going to get.
128GB & 256GB iPhone 5, with 8MP Camera, 5" Retina Screen. A9 Dual Core CPU/GPU.

I would like:
- a similar design to the iphone 4
- a slightly bigger screen
- dual core cpu
- more ram
- larger hdd
If it had all the above, I'd be seriously tempted to sell the iphone 4.![]()

A bit of an upgrade or tweek to the OS would be nice. Obviously the iPhone design works, but it's menus and such are starting to look a little dated compared to the competition.
Of course it needs to be backwards compatible with previous models... but also you won't be able to get the full features of the new OS without upgrading to the latest phone.... the Apple way.
I think the problem is that Apple have designed themselves into a corner. The already have the hardware design about right and the UI is what I would personally consider to be the most logical and user friendly out there (multitasking bar not withstanding). The risk they are running with introducing changes is that they could actually make the UI worse. As much of an Android fan as I am it is entirely undeniable that Apple have created one hell of a device. It's just a shame that a yob like Jobs is such a control freak when it comes to the user experience. IMO of course.
iPhone 4S is almost certainly what your going to get.
I also think the iPhone5 might be the start of Apple dropping backwards compatibility for major iOS versions altogether, i.e. iOS 5 for iPhone5 only.
