I did a trip up to Newcastle this week was my first time there.
.
the accents are so strong I didn't understand some people but it was a laugh.
people up north are much more friendlier and the women are the best
northern women are great - maybe because they love my accent though as well!

so I met this gal she comes up to me and said "are uzzz loking at uzzzz" I lol'd so hard!

life up there is different from London life for sure! In some ways I actually liked it

just wanted to post that peeps :)

the houses were a little bit different
when I was going on the train I saw houses in the middle of nowhere lol that would be kind of cool and weird at the same time
england is a lovely place shame I've not seen much of it

So just to let you all know I went back last weekend.
This time I was there for 2 days instead of just 1 night.

We went to Tiger Tiger on Friday night - it was raining all trip like REALLY awful weather
but women still came out in their skirts! Strange I found some women hard to understand I guess over time things become better.

What is it with the accent up there? In that it is so different to rest of UK. damnnn

also had a ride on the metro lol it's like a mini london underground system you got there but with far less people :)

Also saw that metro centre in Gateshead I didn't know it is the biggest shopping centre in UK!! I thought bullring was big obviously not!

London is what you make of it, but I agree living in inner London is far from ideal, hence me moving further and further south as time goes on.

2002 - 2007: Zone 2
2008 - 2009: Zone 3
2010 - present: Zone 4
Future: Hopefully somewhere nice in Surrey or Kent.

My experience of the midlands and north has been limited to visits to Notts, Brum and Sheffield, the first 2 being fun for clubbing (trance, not commerical) and Sheffield being the most depressing hole I have ever experienced. :p

not been to sheffield, leeds, nottingham yet but would like to see it
in my life I want to see as much of england as I can

That's your aspiration? I suppose it's a start.

well if we are talking aspirations I would say seeing the world would be the main one however due to my circumstances, it is more feasible to start with England first :)

so no matter what we all think it is true to say there are many northern ocuk folk on here :)

or people with links to the north excellent :)
