Just seen the trailer to this and was excited to see it lands on Netflix tomorrow. It's the new Sweet Home mixed with Train to Busan and 28 days later.

Also, if you liked Busan, have you seen the animated film, Seoul Station? :D

I consider modern films with "Fast" zombies to be a blight on the Zombie lore as they take the best specific fear of a Zombie away (that never stopping, slow chase with a single focus) just to replace it with a generic "fast thing that attacks people".

I blame the modern "we need everything to be a billion miles an hour" appetites of the modern audience for this but for me the older films were far better, where the real terror wasn't just a simple physical reaction from being chased by a generic fast creature which got you quickly, but the combined fear of being chased (physical) but for days by something that would never stop, never tire, never give up no matter what you did (mental fear) so you knew that eventually you'd have to stop, to sleep, eat, poop etc whilst the zombie just kept coming for you.

For me that combined fear is more scary than the "run away for 10 seconds then get caught" scares of modern films.

Why wouldn't zombies be as fast as their host ?
or faster because thy wouldn't have the lactic acid building up and likely wouldn't have their brain restricting their strength to prevent injury.

I'm not a fan of fast zombies though only the recently turned should be fast until they start to rot away which in reality wouldn't be that long as your body constantly regenerates pretty much whilst your alive.

I guess there could be different types of zombie state though where it's more of a parasite and doesn't have to kill you to take control

Watched 5 episodes this evening, enjoying it, lots of action

This is what it's all about. Just like Train to Busan, it's a thrill ride of action and entertainment done in the usual Korean format which many appreciate much more than Hollywood's attempts at remakes.

Loving it, its really like train to busan in a school. Another hit for me from Korea, they really are knocking it out of the park in recent years with their tv shows and movies

RT and IMDB have some poor comments - doesn't seem to be anything in the middle, "This is the best thing since the Walking Dead" to "This is trash".

I rate Kingdom, Train to Busan highly and love the zombie genre - is this worth a watch?

I think it's worth the watch. Some bits drag on a bit, but you should give it a go.
As usual, go in with average expectations and you shouldn't be disappointed.
