I recently upgraded my system. The only problem is, my PSU only has 2 PCI-E power leads, and the graphics cards I bought need 2 each. Does anyone know if using a couple of molex-PCIE converters would work? I'm pretty sure the PSU has the oomph, but the graphics card manuals are very clear about requiring "proper" PCI-E connectors. Specs below, standard clocks atm.
PSU:
Akasa 650W "quiet" (cough) : linky
Core:
XFX nforce 780i board
intel core 2 quad Q6600 2.4GHz (90W version)
2x 2GB OCZ PC2-8500 RAM
XFX GF 8800 GTX 768MB
Soundblaster X-Fi PCI sound card
Storage/other:
2x WD 10,000RPM HDDs in RAID0
1x 7200RPM HDD, Seagate
DVD-RW drive, floppy drive
2x 120mm case fans
