All Points Bulletin - How to cancel pre order.

I pre ordered this game thinking its going to be a game where you pay once and thats it. But clearly its not.

How do i cancel my pre order on EA store? They have already charged me for the purchase (bank statement) but no receipt or invoice.

Did you purchase a hard copy from the EA store? Or a digitial download? To my knowledge, you can't get refunds on DDE software.

Digital download. I was stupid to pre order it before i knew it was pay monthly. But i didn't find anything at the time what suggested it was

I didn't think that they could take the money for it until they had to available to download/dispatch?

that was my understanding. And my other understanding is that you cant cancel pre orders if they have already been paid for. But why did they take the money 2 months before the release...

To confirm that i DID pay to EA. On my statement the payment is sent to
DigitalRiver UK SARL
Does everyone else get this?

Best way from what I've just had a quick google for is to try and speak to one of their reps on the live chat, and they should be able to do it from there. http://support.ea.com/chat

i have already emailed them asking about this situation. I did about 4 hours ago still no response.

Ahh, well CST is 6 hours behind us, so you'll have to wait till around 3pm our time to try that option. Unless you can find an option for UK based live chat.

another question, its 2 months till the game is released. Why have i been charged so early?

If its teh same as Steam you can cancel pre-orders by sending them an email.

but the things iv pre ordered on steam dont take the money until the last week or day. Not 2 months before as iv said iv already emailed.

Because as the money is in their account, they can make interest on it, so if you do cancel, they at least make a bit of money out of you heh.
