all programs freezing on windows 10

so as the title suggests all programs on my PC are freezing can i have some help trouble shooting the issue
My Specs Are:
I5 7600k
G.skill Trident-Z RGB 16GB 2x8GB 3000 MHz
MSI Z270 M5 Gaming
Asus GTX1060 3GB OC
NZXT X52 kraken
Corsair rm650x
Kingston 480gb ssd (Boot Drive)
wd Purple 2tb hard drive (Don't ask i know it a CCTV camera dive but i don't have the money to change it and its only mass storage.)

so randomly when using the PC the program in use will just freeze. programs here a list of all of programs i have used becuse they all freeze : GTA-V (social club launcher(vershion)), Minecraft Java Edition , Discord , Google Chrome .
would be very help full to receive any help i have checked the pins on the CPU socket and its fine
I've done clean installs of window's 10 i add more virtual memory I've cleaned out my temp files i checked and stopped all unnecessary programs run in background and running on start up. THANKS FOR READING/HELP
 
Try the following (probably missed something cooking):
  • Resetting CMOS
  • 1 stick of memory (alternate stick and slots)
  • Temps of GPU and CPU?
  • Tested the onboard GFX and removed GPU?
  • Reseat all cables
  • Mainline to wall socket
If none of the above works - skeleton setup and testing a different PSU (plus, a new Cr2032)

Quick test you could run now (leave to own devices) - Memtest.

Read the instructions - run to 400% (explained in instructions - but watch for first 10 minutes, if it doesn't freeze, as 'may' give off errors very quickly if it's the problem)
 
If that SSD is Kingston A400 those are kinda famous for firmware upgrades needing problems.
So download Kingston's SSD tool to check if there's newer firmware for it.
 
Ehm, I had a problem with Intel Rapid Storage drivers and HDD's on my system, every time the HDD started to spin up it froze the system for awhile. When I uninstalled those everything stopped freezing.

Just a thought.
 
the mem test gave no errors and cleared cmos and took out gpu then it was not freezing so i put back the gpu and it has not frozen since so im thinking its fixed but ill try so other stuff it it starts doing it again thanks for your help and to everyone who has gave me suggestions
