All seeing eye - friends gone?

Anyone had this problem before? All my friends don't show anymore on the list, there was probably 50 or so. I can view the actual friends list but it doesn't show me where they're playing.

I didnt bother reinstalling ASE after i rebuilt my PC cause it doesnt really work at all any more.

0 support for new games and allot of the old ones are borked, plus 50% of the time the scanners aren't working.

Dont really like xfire either, wasn't there a ASE like program called quakesomething or other being worked on?

Not used ASE since Yahoo bought it, I even paid for it!

XFire is where it's at now and it's free

I really hope Xfire brings out their version of Fraps, would be awesome if they integrate video capture into the program as well

^Fraps seems fine? works fine for me anyway just the video size is a pain since I went and edited all my vid from a game in windows movie maker and it comes out in windows movie format which reduces quality.

Havine just one program running > Firing up more than one program

Of course it decreases the quality, but windows movie maker is pure crap

Haven't Yahoo! killed ASE anyway? The lack of development from Yahoo! forced me into using X-Fire, which is ironic since Yahoo! bought ASE originally to compete against it.

I only use ASE for scanning servers. Even then its not as good as it used to be. For players I use xfire.

Having said that xfire has some really annoying bugs.

I used to use ASE but then the pings got all strange and high?

So roasted that and had Xfire ever since!
